Fast Response When Your Home Needs It

Plumbing emergencies don’t announce themselves in advance. A pipe bursts behind a wall, the ceiling starts dripping, or you come home to standing water in the basement. These situations cause damage by the hour, and the longer water sits, the worse it gets. The EPA estimates that 10% of homes have leaks severe enough to waste 90 gallons or more per day, and many of those leaks are hidden behind walls or under floors where you can’t see them.

We’re based in Franklin Township, which puts us within 15 to 25 minutes of most Southside Indianapolis neighborhoods during business hours. When you call with an emergency, we prioritize getting to you the same day. We bring leak detection equipment, common repair materials, and the experience to assess the situation quickly — diagnose, stop the water, and fix the source.

Signs You Have a Plumbing Emergency

Water Gushing From a Pipe, Fixture, or Wall

If water is actively spraying or flowing in a place it shouldn’t be, this is the most urgent situation. A supply line failure can release hundreds of gallons in a short period; the damage compounds with every minute.

Ceiling Dripping or Walls Showing Water Stains

Water stains or active dripping from your ceiling usually mean a pipe, fitting, or fixture above is leaking. If you see bulging drywall or paint, there’s likely water pooling behind it. Don’t poke through it yourself, as it can release a large volume of trapped water at once.

Water Rising From Floor or Foundation

Water pushing up through your basement floor, slab, or around your foundation can indicate a slab leak, a failed sump pump, or a drain line backup. Slab leaks are especially common in homes with aging copper supply lines running beneath the concrete.

Unexplained Jump in Your Water Bill

If your water bill increases significantly without a change in usage, a hidden leak is the most likely cause. These leaks can run for weeks or months behind walls, under slabs, or in crawl spaces before they produce visible signs.

You Hear Water Running Behind Walls or Under Floors

If you can hear water flowing when every faucet, toilet, and appliance in the house is off, water is escaping somewhere in your system. This is often the first clue of a hidden pipe failure that hasn’t broken through a surface yet.

Emergency and Leak Detection Services We Provide

Pipe Repair and Replacement

Burst pipes, cracked supply lines, failed connections, and corroded sections. We repair or replace the damaged section to stop the water and restore your system. If the pipe needs to be rerouted or replaced entirely, we'll explain why and quote the full scope before proceeding.

Leak Detection and Location

Not all leaks are visible. We use professional detection methods to locate leaks behind walls, under slabs, in crawl spaces, and within your supply and drain lines. Finding the exact location of a hidden leak means we can fix it with minimal disruption to your home.

Slab Leak Diagnosis and Repair

Slab leaks occur in the supply or drain lines running beneath your concrete foundation. Signs include warm spots on the floor, the sound of running water, and unexplained moisture. We locate the leak and determine whether a direct repair or a reroute is the better solution for your home.

Automatic Shut-Off Valve and Leak Detection System Installation

For homeowners who want proactive protection, we install automatic main water shut-off valves with built-in leak detection. These systems monitor your water flow and shut off the supply automatically if they detect a pipe failure or abnormal usage, protecting your home even when you're not there.

Why Fast Response Matters

Every Hour Matters for Water Damage

Water damage gets worse with time, not better. According to industry restoration standards, mold can begin developing within 24 to 48 hours of sustained moisture exposure. Drywall, insulation, flooring, and structural wood all absorb water quickly. The faster we stop the source, the less damage your home sustains.

Find the Leak Without Tearing Open Walls

Professional leak detection pinpoints where the problem is before we cut into anything. That means less disruption to your home and a faster, more targeted repair. Guessing wrong means unnecessary holes in your walls and wasted time.

We're Already Close to You

Our Franklin Township home base puts us within 10 to 25 minutes of most Southside Indianapolis neighborhoods during business hours. We prioritize emergency calls over routine appointments because we understand that active water damage can't sit in a queue.

Clear Thinking When You Need It Most

Emergencies are stressful, and that's when some companies push expensive solutions you don't need. We assess the situation calmly, explain what's happening in plain language, and give you options. If a targeted repair solves the problem, that's what we recommend, not a full repipe you don't need today.

What to Expect During an Emergency Call

When you call with an emergency, we treat it differently from a standard appointment. Here’s how the process works.

Step 1: Call Us and Describe What You See

Call (317) 517-9348 and tell us what's happening. We may walk you through shutting off your main water supply over the phone to stop active water flow before we arrive. This one step can prevent thousands of gallons of additional damage.

Step 2: We Arrive and Assess

We get to your home as quickly as our schedule allows during business hours (Monday–Friday 7 am–7 pm, Saturday 10 am–4 pm). We assess the situation, locate the source of the problem, and determine whether it's an active failure, a hidden leak, or a drain issue.

Step 3: Stop the Water and Fix the Source

Priority one is always stopping the water. Once the leak is controlled, we diagnose the underlying cause and quote the repair. If the repair is straightforward, we complete it on the same visit. If it requires a larger scope of work like repiping or a slab reroute, we'll schedule that as a follow-up and make sure your home is stable in the meantime. Financing is available through Wisetack for larger repair or replacement projects.

After Hours

If you call outside of business hours, leave a message. We return calls within 30 minutes of our next business window and can schedule a first-thing-in-the-morning visit. In the meantime, shut off your main water supply to prevent further damage.

Related Services

Repiping

If your emergency was caused by aging or deteriorating pipes, a whole-house repipe may be the long-term solution that prevents the next failure.

Sump Pump Services

Basement flooding is sometimes a sump pump failure, not a pipe burst. If your sump pump didn't keep up, we can repair or replace it.

Plumbing Inspections

After an emergency, a whole-house plumbing inspection can identify other vulnerabilities in your system before they become the next problem.

INDIANAPOLIS WATER: WHAT'S ACTUALLY IN IT?

Indianapolis tap water runs 12 to 25 grains per gallon — anything above 7 is considered hard, according to Citizens Energy Group. That mineral load is why water heaters, fixtures, and appliances wear out early across the Southside.

Emergency Plumbing Questions

How fast can you get to me in an emergency?

During business hours, we prioritize emergency calls and can typically arrive within 30 to 60 minutes for Southside Indianapolis locations. Our Franklin Township home base puts us within 10 to 25 minutes of most neighborhoods we serve.

Shut off your main water supply valve. This is the single most effective thing you can do to limit damage. If you don’t know where your shut-off valve is, we can help you locate it over the phone when you call.

Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, and Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. If you call outside those hours, leave a message, and we’ll return your call within 30 minutes of our next business window. Shutting off your main water supply will protect your home until we can get there.

It depends on the type of repair. We provide a quote after assessing the situation, even during emergencies. Our standard diagnostic fee applies, and it’s waived if you proceed with the repair. No surprise charges.

Yes. We use professional leak detection equipment to locate hidden leaks without unnecessary demolition. Slab leaks, in-wall supply line failures, and hidden drain issues can all be located and diagnosed before we determine the right repair approach.
